International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church 2023 theme: Courage to Rise Above
Faith leaders across Texas join to raise awareness for religious minorities across the globe facing persecution. Join Speak Freedom Texas – A state-wide invitation to churches to stand with people living in countries suffering conflict, religious persecution and as a result horrific humanitarian crisis. We have provided resources for churches to download from this website to help your church get involved.
“Millions are living under extreme religious persecution. It is time for the Church in the West to stand with our brothers and sisters suffering for their faith.”
2023 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER RESOURCES
We have provided a link to free materials prepared by both Texas Baptists and International Day of Prayer. These resources include videos, daily prayers, bulletin inserts, ppt slides, social media posts and a poster. They will help you, your small group, your class, your church and your family pray for those persecuted for their belief on Sunday, November 5, 2023 as well as throughout the year.
In honor of Speak Freedom Texas on November 3, individuals and churches are joining us in sending a letter to Congress explaining why they support international religious freedom.
These Factsheets offer detailed information about religious persecution and discrimination and the government stats, country by country, and are available to download and to use in educating others.
On November 21, 2018, many around the world are partnering together to wear red and to floodlight their buildings and homes in red in order to build awareness about the reality about global religious persecution.
DBU Students Speak Out
With three-quarters of people in the world living under religious persecution and discrimination, we challenge you and your church to stand with those impacted by international religious persecution. We invite you and your church to join us on November 5, 2023.
